You must have a Certificate of Eligibility Form I-20 from Niagara University when you go to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate to apply for your F1 student visa. You will also need the I-20 document, as well as your passport and student visa, when you enter into the United States. If you have a different valid visa for the U.S. and it allows you to legally study as a fulltime college student in the U.S., you may not need to apply for an I-20 documents or a student visa.
