    Clinical Mental Health Counseling BRIDGE

    Niagara University’s Advanced Certificate/Bridge Program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling is designed to support master’s-level clinicians who wish to meet the requirements for New York State licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
    The program offers advanced courses and hands-on clinical experiences, all approved by the New York State Department of Education, and helps prepare students to take the Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination.

    Program highlights:

    • Approved by the New York State Department of Education as Niagara’s official Bridge Program
    • Meets New York State educational requirements for LMHC licensure
    • Prepares students for the Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination
    • Minimum of 15 credit hours required; additional courses may be needed depending on prior graduate coursework
    • Open to a wide range of master’s-level clinicians in related fields
