If you’ve ever thought about becoming a teacher, now is the time. Opportunities in the field of education are growing like never before — New York state alone will need 180,000 new teachers over the next 10 years.

Our College of Education is one of only 10 in the state to hold prestigious CAEP accreditation (bonus: it’s also accredited in Ontario!). Unlike most colleges, undergraduates at NU are admitted into the program during their very first semester and participate in up to nine internships before they graduate. Graduate students can earn a master’s degree and be certified to teach in as little as one year.
