College Search Information Session (Virtual)

    This event is designed as a general overview of the search process so both parents and students can gain insight and inform their decision-making. Participants will learn the following:

    • Visits: When you should tour a campus, how to schedule, and what types of visits are available.
    • Applications: Find out how and when to apply, what documents you need, tips on writing essays, and what the standard timeline looks like.
    • Standardized Tests: Information on how to handle testing like the ACT/SAT, and the pros and cons of optional tests.
    • Campus Activities: Discover what kinds of extracurricular activities, social clubs, athletics, and intramurals align with your interests.
    • Scholarships and Aid Get a better sense of total education cost, the financial opportunities available, and the deadlines to be aware of.
    • Finding the Right Fit: Receive guidance on the intangible qualities you should be looking for to make the right decision.
    • You're Accepted: Congratulations, you've been accepted into the program of your choice. We'll discuss the next steps you should be aware of.
