Social Work Showcase (Virtual)

Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 4:00 PM until 5:30 PMEastern Standard Time UTC -05:00

This year has been a testament to how careers in social work can fundamentally change people’s lives for the better. Are you thinking about a career in social work, but not sure it’s the right profession for you? We’re here to help you find out more about social work and to get answers to your questions about being a professional social worker.

Niagara University's fully-accredited social work program helps students obtain the knowledge and experience to help people in need. You'll find social workers in schools, hospitals, police departments, public libraries, government offices, courtrooms, and anywhere people need help. Our curriculum focuses on concepts of empowerment and experiential learning while discovering individual strengths to prepare students to work. They'll gain transformative and real-world experience along the way, so our students graduate ready to engage on day one.

Join Dr. Kevin Blair, professor and social work department chairman who has been a practicing social worker for almost 40 years, and a current NU student to discover what opportunities you'll find at Niagara University.
