School Counseling Virtual Information Session

Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 5:00 PM until 6:00 PMEastern Standard Time UTC -05:00

Niagara University's master’s degree program in School Counseling prepares graduates who - through commitment, excellence, and Vincentian tradition - will have a positive and sustained impact in their respective school communities, and particularly students from underserved and underrepresented populations.

Our program offers a rigorous curriculum aimed at facilitating the mindsets and behaviors necessary for school counselors to define, manage, deliver, and assess their comprehensive school counseling programs. With this knowledge and skill set, our students graduate ready to effectively facilitate the academic, college/career, and personal/social development and achievement of all pK-12 students.

Our faculty are relationally-oriented and deeply committed to students’ professional development and personal growth which is cultivated through teaching, curricular, mentoring, and supervisory experiences.

In just two years, students can complete the 48-credit hours of study necessary to receive their initial certification in school counseling, making them eligible to work in school districts across New York State. School counselors are needed now more than ever.

Attend an information session to discuss the program and curriculum, meet faculty, learn about internships, and get your questions answered. Register today!
