Graduate Literacy & Special Education Virtual Information Session (Medaille Students ONLY)

    Niagara University's College of Education is hosting a virtual showcase of their advanced Advanced Literacy and Special Education master's programs for incoming Medaille graduate students! Join us to learn more about our master’s degrees listed below:

    • Literacy: The master’s degree program in Literacy Instruction includes the most current theory and practice in literacy education, and is designed to develop highly qualified literacy educators who can guide K-12 students to excellence in literacy. Graduates will be qualified for New York State initial certification as reading specialists leading to professional certification. Also, offered is a new literacy specialist certificate.

    • Special Education Grades 1-6 or 7-12: The primary goal of the Special Education 1-6 or 7-12 master’s program is to provide teachers with knowledge, instructional principles and practices for teaching students with disabilities. Our special education master’s program is now offered in a 100% online format for busy teachers who find it difficult to commute to campus, but would like to have the opportunity to engage in the professional development of a graduate program.
